Default Best Conjure?

I did some searching but never found anything on this particular subject (mainly only got "where is C.Earth?" threads)

But what (if it matters) is the best type of elemental damage to go with for Conjure spells. Especially in PvP, many monks etc. carry shields with +al vs fire, lightning etc.

Just wondering what the most proficient one would be without any complimentary skills. In other words, Conjure alone without any other skills from the same attribute line.

It doesn't matter. Most good Monks carry a shield for each different damage type. I would steer away from damage other characters in your build are doing (if you have an Elementalist) to add diversity to your damage sources so a Monk can't rely on just one shield to negate most of your team's damage.

you completely misread, I was wondering which one WITHOUT any complimentary skills.

Just for the damage type. the most versatile vs all classes, because warriors tend to have less armor vs elemental damage as well.

This.

If you don't have any other elemental damage-dealers, it doesn't matter.

QFT. If your Ele is air, then go fire or cold. The more types of damage your team can deal, the less likely the Monk is going to be able to defend against it.

It doesn't matter - all elements will be equally (in-)effective in the long run - no-one runs specific vs element insignia on their armour in PvP.

Only thing worth considering is what your team is packing - if one of your allies is a mind blaster, for example, you may want to take CFrost instead so a caster is forced to choose between a Fire shield and a Cold shield.
